My main fields of interest are:
- nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) for millisecond time-scales,
- automatic code generation for numerical optimization methods,
- development of fast online QP solvers for MPC problems,
- real-world application of these methods in different domains (e.g. electrical engineering, automotive).
Part of my PhD studies has been dedicated to the development of the ACADO Toolkit for automatic control and dynamic optimization. This software is available as open source code at www.acadotoolkit.org.
I also developed and implemented a new online active set strategy for solving quadratic programs (QPs) as arising in model predictive control. This software, called qpOASES, is available as open source code at www.qpOASES.org.
